Grow in warm, dappled light conditions. A single flower is carried at the apex of eah inflorescence. Flowers striped white, then yellow with a red/flush-red line in between. Flowers are wide-spreading, long-lasting and firmly textured.
ORIGIN/HABITAT: Ecuador and Venezuela. In Ecuador, this orchid has been found in the north near Lumbaqui at 2600 ft (800 m). In Venezuela, plants are found in the forests the Andes and the Coastal Range, mainly at 5000-6000 ft. (1520-1830 m). — Source: Charles Baker
