Southeast Asia. Charming bright to pale amethyst-purple fragrant flowers. Lip flared
trumpet shape- white with a dark purple disk edged with a yellow or white velvety band. Easy to cultivate as it can tolerate summer highs and winter lows. Grows in high humidity – lower in winter. Water frequently from spring into autumn while actively growing. Reduce watering after new growth matures.
The habitat includes north eastern India, Burma, northern Thailand, Laos, and
southwestern China. Plants often densely cover tree tops. In Thailand, plants grow at 1300- 2600 ft. (400-800 m).
