Endemic to Brazil
One of the smallest of the Neoregelia, this outstanding plant
spreads loosely on wire-like stolons. Easily grown in low light and is well suited for hanging baskets and driftwood logs.
Neoregelia ampullacea has moderate water needs and moderate to high light needs. Under more intense light it will display brighter colours.
NEOREGELIA -The attractive feature of most Neoregelias is the dazzling color change in the heart of the rosette near flowering time. They are also among the easiest to grow and very hardy. The flowers are borne on a compact head that nestles in the heart of the plant.
