One brilliant coloured, open, flat flower carried on a 340mm long peduncle; dorsal sepal with dark green veins and a white edge with tiny maroon hairs on the edges; petals light green with heavy maroon spots; pouch dusty green heavily spotted with maroon warts; one petal noticeably narrower than the other petal. 	Award 880 Paphiopedilum Rooikat ‘Red River’ AM/SAOC 82% (Katja Kastrup x Holdenii) Judged by Transvaal/Free State Region on 18 May 1994. Ns 88,5mm; Ds 60x56mm; Ps 19x68mm; Ls 17x39mm; pouch 21x52mm. One dark, glowing even burgundy coloured flower on a strong 388mm long peduncle; dorsal sepal well-coloured but with some reflexing at the base; petals evenly dark coloured with dark warts; substance and texture average. 	Award 885 Paphiopedilum Willidru ‘Magoeba’ HCC/SAOC 77% (druryi x William Mathews) Judged by Transvaal/Free State Region on 18 June 1994. Ns 97mm; Ds 53x53mm; Ps 24x61mm; Ls 29x48mm; pouch 29x51mm. One well balanced flat flower carried on a 270mm long peduncle; dorsal sepal green in the centre fading to cream along the rim; sulcus and stripes dark brown; petals nicely outstretched, brownish green in colour with dark brown central stripe; pouch pinkish in colour fading to pale green towards bottom. 	Award 905 Odontioda Aviewood ‘Moonrise’ HCC/SAOC 79% (Aviemore x Odm. Whitewood). Judged by Transvaal/Free State Region on 17 August 1994. Ns 82mm; Ds 29x46mm; Ps 39x42mm; Ls 28x45mm; lip 23x29mm. Ten beautiful, flat, maroon coloured flowers with darker maroon spots which have a white halo around them, carried on a strong upright inflorescence; arrangement on inflorescence could be improved; petals goffer somewhat; lip white with minute maroon fringe and two maroon spots; lacking slightly in form and colour, substance and texture average. Ns 105mm; Ds 26x49mm; Ps 33x46mm; Ls 26x50mm; lip 80x58mm. Five flat pink flowers and one bud well spaced on an arching inflorescence; sepals flat, pale pink shading towards margins, petals dark pink, broad and slightly recurving; lip full, round with contrasting burgundy; calli yellow with red stripes, substance and texture fair.
