ORIGIN/HABITAT: India to China and Indochina. In India, this epiphytic orchid is distributed throughout the Himalayan Ranges from Dehra Dun to the Khasia Hills at elevations of 600-2000 m. Coelogyne - A large genus of typically epiphytic orchids from the Himalayas, South East Asia, Indonesia and the Philippines. All Coelogynes prefer a semi-shaded position with good air movement. Make excellent specimen plants; do well in baskets - Vietnam, Malaysia, India.
