Also known as the beautiful Coelia.
The nearly erect, rather fragrant blossoms with the odor of bitter almonds are about 5 cm long. Sepals and petals are yellowish white with rose-purple tips.
ORIGIN/HABITAT: Belize, Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras. Plants grow as terrestrials or epiphytes on trees in humid forests at elevations up to 4900 ft. (1500 m)
