Two large flowers and two buds on a strong 340mm inflorescence. Dorsal and synsepal chartreuse green with maroon stripes; petals creamy yellow. maroon spotted with hirsute, ruffled margins; pouch burgundy red with yellow edge; staminode wine red, finely hirsute. Substance heavy, texture waxy.

One magnificent flower on a 400mm long inflorescence. Dorsal sepal apple green with brown tessellations; pouch light pink with fine, darker pink spots becoming more intense towards the centre; staminode cream with brilliant magenta spots and stripes and suffused towards the edges. Substance firm, texture shiny.

Dorsal sepal white, blending to chartreuse at the base with heavy, maroon stripes; synsepal chartreuse, veins less intense than on dorsal sepal; petals yellow green on inner half with heavy, dark mahogany spots, outer tips solid mahogany; pouch gold, flushed mahogany; staminode chartreuse with magenta hairs basally. Substance good, texture satiny.

Substance heavy, texture waxy.

An interesting hybrid in which thePolystachya bicarinatapredominates except for the erect inflorescence from thePolystachya Rodney Ellis

The two branching inflorescence 750mm and 700 mm carried eleven flowers and nineteen buds. The non-resupinate flowers have an open form, and with the stance of the lateral sepals particularly pleasing. Flower colour crushed orange. Substance good, texture crystalline.

Three hundred and forty two flowers and sixty nine buds on eight branched infloresences arched gracefully in one direction. Dorsal sepal and petals yellow, spotted red; lateral sepals large, velvety red; lip small, cream, spotted red. Substance firm, texture sparkling.
